The Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce was over 7 years in the making. Contractors Northwest, Inc. was selected by the Chamber of Commerce for the project in 2000. The Chamber was planning on an EDA Grant to assist in paying for the project but that fell apart after the events of 9/11. Immediately thereafter, CNI began what turned into a multi-year Value Engineering exercise involving several design iterations. Through a combination of CNI’s innovations, hard work, in kind donations and fund raising efforts, the Coeur d’Alene Chamber project broke ground in July of 2006, and was completed on time in the fall of 2007.
